Organize & Print Exchange Program
- Students volunteer and work a system that builds the minds around how to create solutions.
- Transforming a situation in small ways leads to larger solutions. Students who participate practice solutions mind set, and over time be able to use this experience in applying for future opportunities.
- Earn 5 credits toward earning a t-shirt or zip up hooded sweatshirt with a silk screen design of their own artwork with volunteer levels, Organize, Model or Teach.
- Participation would be voluntary, with clear consent guidelines and tasks, with breaks.
- Organize and clean materials
- Help with art show, hanging work, organize refreshments
Pose & Print Program
- Students volunteer to model for a set amount of time (for example, 1.5 hours with short timed poses and a break).
- Earn 5 credits toward earning a t-shirt or zip up hooded sweatshirt with a silk screen design of their own artwork with volunteer levels, Organize, Model or Teach.
- Credits can be redeemed for a limited-edition silk-screen-printed T-shirt produced by the studio with an original design.
- Different shirt designs mark participation sections (3 model sessions, 5 organizing sessions, 5 Teaching sessions, etc.), turning them into collectible studio items with own silk screen printed artwork.
- The program creates opportunities for students to experience drawing people from life, portrait sessions, natural figure compositions, giving illustration students real practice in creating depth into their projects and fostering collaboration and experience through art students with art students.
- The program creates a pool of accessible models while giving printmaking students real production projects and fostering collaboration across disciplines.
Assist Teaching & Print Exchange Program
- Helping younger students during lessons – Experience as an art student required. Age 12-Teen.
- Helping younger students during workshops – Age 12-Teen.
