Organize & Print Exchange Program

  • Transforming a situation in small ways leads to larger solutions. Students who participate practice a solution mind set, and over time be able to use this experience in applying for future opportunities.
  • Earn 5 credits toward earning a t-shirt or zip up hooded sweatshirt with a silk screen design of their own artwork with volunteer opportunities to organize, Sit/Pose, or assistant teach.
  • Participation would be voluntary, with clear consent guidelines and tasks, with breaks.
  • Students may organize and clean materials or help with art show, hanging work, organize refreshments

Pose & Print Program

  • Students volunteer to model for a set amount of time to give other students a chance to practice drawing from life (for example, 1 hour with short timed poses and a break).
  • Earn 5 credits toward earning a t-shirt or zip up hooded sweatshirt with a silk screen design of their own artwork.
  • Shirt design by student and printed by students (5 model sessions, 5 organize sessions, 5 assistant teaching sessions), turn them into collectible studio items with their own silk screen printed artwork.
  • The program creates opportunities for students to experience drawing people from life in portrait sessions, natural figure sitting compositions, giving illustration students real practice in creating depth into their projects and fostering collaboration and experience through art students with art students.

Assistant Teacher & Print Exchange Program

  • Help younger students during lessons – Experience as an art student required. Age 13-Teen. 
  • Help younger students during workshops – Age 13-Teen.
